Seconds

Pottery is unpredictable. Sometimes the glaze doesn't turn out how you envisioned or a crack occurs in the kiln. These mishaps don't effect the usability of a piece, but they do prevent the piece from meeting the high quality standards I set for my work. These "seconds" are sold at a discount with the understanding that the piece is flawed but still usable. The issue is noted in the description.
